| ENAcombi is a solid phase enzyme immunometric assay
(ELISA). It is designed for semi-quantitative determination
of IgG class autoantibodies directed against the
extractable nuclear antigens SS-A (52 and 60 kDa),
SS-B, Sm, RNP/Sm, Scl-70 and Jo-1. Each of the 12 strips
is vertically coated with the corresponding antigens
thus permitting the assessment of 12 patient sera.
Evaluation of the ENAcombi test is carried out by
direct comparison of the optical density of each
patient sample to the optical density of the cut-off
control. For semi-quantative calculation of the
patients results the concentration of the controls may
be used to create a calibration curve. The concentration
of unknowns may be estimated from this calibration
curve. |
